Robotics

There will be no Robotics meeting on Thursday March 2 due to the large number of members competing in UIL. Robotics will resume its regular schedule the following week.

Robotics Team - 5th graders only for competition using EV3
$20 the year to cover t-shirt, supplies and competition
Maximum capacity 14 students with at least one co teacher coach

Robotics Club - 2nd through 4th Training group only using NXT
$10 the year to cover t-shirt and supplies
Maximum capacity 8 students with at least one co-teacher coach

Thursdays in the Library 2:30 to 3:30 pm
Students will learn the math associated with robotics as well as the skills to work in groups, and to solve problems. All students will build, program and manipulate the new EV3 or the NXT Lego E Z R Robot.

The Robotics Team will attend the Manor Annual Robotics competition. Each student will keep a journal of activities, demonstrate learned skills at are expected to promote good citizenship and responsibility through behavior and good grades.

The Robotics Club will NOT attend competition. Each student will keep a journal of activities, demonstrate learned skills at events and promote good citizenship and responsibility through behavior and good grades.
