STUDENT COUNCIL

Student council will consist of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. These students will typically be in good academic standing, have good attendance, no behavior problems, and have a desire to be a leader within their school, grade level, and classroom. Student council is a great program that promotes leadership skills, teaches organization and teamwork, give students a sense of self worth, and builds self-esteem. As a member of student council, students of all grade levels (3-5) will participate in campus and community improvements. Along with collecting the recycling from each classroom and being morning hall monitors, students will work together to make our campus clean, safe, and efficient.

The 5th grade student council members will have the opportunity to run for office (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Public Relations, Secretary) and have the opportunity to lead monthly meetings after school. We will discuss service learning projects, campus improvement ideas, fundraising, and create spirit posters.
